Tamara received both her Associate and Bachelor Degree in nursing from Eastern KY University. She has over 15 years of experience in nursing including critical care and emergency department as well as pediatric office based practice. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky in 1995, and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. After practicing at Corbin Pediatrics for 3 years she also obtained her certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 1998. Her special interests include well child care in addition to safety and injury prevention in pediatrics.
